Simone Cristicchi is probably my favourite italian singer songwriter. I remember listening to his songs when I was little, and growing up I realized how much they actually spoke to my soul, as a mentally ill person.
I made this lo-fi mix in a period when my days were as painful as walking on pointy knives, and when the sun never actually shined through my window.
Remixing this song was therapeutic in a lot of ways for me. It made me start all of this. I never thought I could remix a song, even with my limited knowledge of music.
Thank you for listening, and, well, I know this will probably never reach out to the original songwriter, but I would really love to say that I still listen to the original song periodically and it still makes me feel something in the nothingness of my empty days.
